On May 15, 1977, Stephan Christopher Parish, was born to Joseph Rosborough and Floretha Parish in Houston, Texas. He was baptized at the early age of twelve (12), at Second Shiloh Baptist Church under the leadership of Reverend L. Davis.
Stephan, affectionately known as “G.S.” to all who loved him, received his education in the Houston Independent School District. He was extremely athletic, holding several records in both Junior High and High School athletics.
Stephan continued his love for sports into adulthood. He was an avid movie watcher and most importantly, he loved the Word of God. His favorite saying was, “I’m a true soldier for the Lord our God.”
He worked in many fields throughout his lifetime. Just before his passing, Stephan was working a job that he enjoyed greatly. He was highly praised by his coworkers and management, who also expressed great sorrow upon hearing of his passing.
Stephan was suddenly called to be with our Father, Jesus Christ, on July 28, 2021.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Floretha Parish-Fisher; grandfather, Luches Parish; grandmother, Josephine S. Parish and two (2) aunts, Sylvia and Beverly Parish.
Stephan took great pride in his family and believed that we should all strive to be together and love one another, whole heartedly.
He leaves to mourn, a loving fiancé, Techonia Jones; his children, Stephan Jr. (S.J.), Kendre, Christian (Poppa), Khristina (Nana), Promise, King Stephan; other children he played a loving role in their lives; Quinton, Marquise, Taylasha, Shantae, Trayvon and Myesha; his father, Joseph Rosborough (Valerie); grandfather, Joseph Rosborough Sr.; grandmother, Ruby Slaughter; mother-in-law, Judy Calhoun; siblings, Stephanie Parish, Patricia Parish and Donnell Farrow; uncles, Wayne Parish (Kathy), Johnny Rosborough (Jessie) and Luches B.
