Rickey Leagolon Johnson was born on June 3, 1957, to the beautiful Nell Sue Jackson in Minden, Louisiana.
Rickey was a hardworking man. He retired from D.F. Sales Warehouse, where he worked over 20 years. He was his boss, Don’s right-hand man. He and all his coworkers were very close, they were more than coworkers, they were family. Rickey loved his family; he was a true family man.
Rickey’s passing is preceded by his mother, Nell Sue Jackson; his sister, Brenda Jackson; his son, Rickey Johnson, Jr. and two of his grandchildren: Damien Gonzalez and Destiny Gonzalez. It’s with great joy to know that he is reunited with some of his very close loved ones who he missed so much.
He leaves to cherish his memory two daughters: Chimeria Gonzalez (Juan Gonzalez) and Kristyonia Calhoun (Demetria McKenzie); three grandsons: Julian Gonzalez, Gabriel Gonzalez and Christian Gonzalez; a bonus son, Johnny Dilworth (Reginald Bradley); two brothers: Nolan Johnson and Reginald Jackson; sister, Pamela Jackson; a few special friends: Diana Calhoun and Gracie Dixon and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Rickey was a well put together, hardworking, self-driven person whose presence will be greatly missed.
