Pearlina was born on July 1, 1931 to Prenell Adams and Abe Maxie in Florien, Louisiana. She accepted Christ at an early age.
Pearlina received her childhood education through the Sabine Parish School District.
In her early adulthood, Pearlina moved to Houston, Texas. She joined Oakhill Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Reverend E.J. Thomas. She later moved her membership to Philippian’s New Faith Baptist Church, where she remained a faithful member until she passed away.
Pearlina was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, two (2)sons-in-law, one (1) grandson and one (1) great-grandson.
She leaves to mourn seven (7) children: Helen Piggee, Ruby Ramirez, Annie Hairgrow, Betty Hairgrow, Mercedes Garrette, Sarita Garrette and James Hairgrow; fifteen (15) grandchildren, fourteen (14) great-grandchildren and host of extended family, a loving church family, friends and dear neighbors.
