Monique Lacha Hartley was born on May 1, 1980 to Cheryl Hartley and Henry Page, Jr. at St. Luke’s Hospital in Houston Texas.
Monique matriculated through the Houston Independent School System graduating from Bellaire High School. She continued her education at MTI College of Business and Technology, where she graduated with a degree in Accounting in 2006. After working various jobs, she was excited to land her dream job with Vroom.
During her early years, she had a passion for dance so she took up ballet. Everyone who knew Monique knew how much she loved to spend quality time with her family. She loved nature and visiting the beach. She had a soft spot for her furry friends, treating each one like the valuable family member they were. She enjoyed cooking with her mommie and she enjoyed eating just as much. Hair was her thing and every style was her own. She always carried herself with class and was always stylish wherever she was.
Her quest for love lead her to Paul Jackson. The two met in junior high school. They became a pair in January 2016 and their very first date was at Barnes & Noble. The two shared life and family together for a number of years. They solidified their love and devotion by saying their vows on November 10, 2023.
Monique is preceded in death by her grandmothers: Juana Lee Hartley and Clara Page and her grandfathers: Harry Hartley, Jr. and Henry Page, Sr.
She leaves to cherish her memory her husband, Paul Jackson; parents: Cheryl Hartley and Henry Page, Jr.; one sister, Tanika; two uncles: Lionel Ray and Michael; three aunts: Karen, Shelia and Linda; mother-in-law, Sandra; two brothers- in-law, four bonus children and a host of nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends.
