Mrs. Meredith Brown Obituary

The angel of death has visited us again and taken from us our beloved, Meredith Ann Richardson Coleman Brown.

She was born May 1, 1943 in Bryan, Texas to Viola Scott and Robert Richardson, Sr. She accepted Christ at an early age, being baptized in the sacred Christening Ceremony at Lee Chapel Methodist Church.

Meredith received her education from the Bryan Independent School District. She graduated from E.A. Kemp High School in 1961. Shortly after graduating, Meredith began a new chapter of her life when she gave birth to her son, Darrell Coleman.

In 1963, she decided to relocate to Houston, Texas. Once she was settled, she attended and Franklin Beauty College where she graduated in all branches of beauty culture. Being a Beautician was one of her most favorite passions that she did so very well.

In 1970, Meredith married Ira Lee Brown, with whom she was married until his passing in 2022.  After they were married, she and Ira joined New Covenant Christian Church, to which they were both devote members.

Preceding her in death are her parents, husband, son, five sisters and one brother.

She leaves to cherish her memory her granddaughter, Ebony Harris; great-granddaughter, Mackenzie Martin; a step-son, Anthony Brown; three stepdaughters: Lavon, Tareva and Karan; one sister, Roberta Nancy Harris of Bryan, Texas; one brother-in-law, Charles H. Brown (Katherine) and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends. All of who oved and respected her dearly.
