Mr. Dwight Ball, Jr. Obituary

On January 30, 1983, Dwight Joel Ball, Jr. was born to Katherine Bell and Dwight Joel Ball, Sr., in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He always enjoyed fixing things and was very creative with his hands. He grew up around his cousins and sister and they all looked out for each other.

Dwight and his family moved to Houston , Texas in 1995. He attended school in the Houston Independent School District, graduating from Westbury High School in 2001. Westbury High School is where he acquired his love for auto mechanics and would soon after fall in love with motorcycles. Dwight saw the movie, “Biker Boyz,” and then his stepfather purchased a motorcycle and he was hooked from there.

In 2013, a friend of Dwight’s introduced him to young lady whom she felt was perfect for him, her name was Dametria Bob. It turned out that she was right, they were indeed perfect for each other. They have shared many adventures together, as they both enjoyed travelling. They would go on to create a beautiful family and a beautiful life together, making their union official on June 27, 2021.

Chubby, affectionately called by his family, loved to eat. Looking at him, one may not have believed it, but he could eat a 16oz steak with sides with no  problem.

Dwight also enjoyed spending time with his family, riding his motorcycle, working on cars and maintaining his precious yard. One of his most proudest accomplishments was starting his own business as a mobile mechanic.

Dwight was preceded in death by two sisters, LaQuisha A. Ball and Consuella M. Ball; grandfather, Houston Bell, Jr.; grandmother, Yvonne Ball-Hamilton; stepfather, Elroy Neal and uncle, Philip Bell.

He is survived by his loving wife, Dametria; children: DeNeyah Ball, Aubree Ball, Tyrianna Bob, J’Myri Bob and Michaiah Lamark; mother, Katherine Neal; father, Dwight Joel Ball, Sr. ( Cathline); sister, LaQuesha R. Ball; niece, ConSweyla Ball and a host of extended family and friends who miss him dearly.
