Family and Friends, I know that you are sad, tears are falling, and hearts are broken, you may even feel like I left you, but I want you to remember that even though I am no longer here on earth with you, I still believe in you, and you will make it. Do not go backwards but keep moving forward in life and in godly pursuits. Know that I’ve been Redeemed, I Am Free, I am no longer sick, and I no longer have any pain; because of God, I’m Healed!
And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away. (Revelation 21:4)
On December 15, 1969, in Houston, Tx, a baby boy was born to Bishop LeRoy Robinson, Sr. and Elsie Mae Finley Robinson. He departed this life on January 22, 2024.
Le Roy, attended A.G. Hilliard Elementary, B.C. Elmore Middle School and graduated from M.B. Smiley High School in the year 1988.
Le Roy joined the U.S. Marines, whose motto is ‘Semper Fidelis,’ which means “Always Faithful.” Le Roy was one that would motivate his fellow sister or brother (No one was a stranger to Le Roy). The Marines had a battle cry, which was ‘Oorah.’ This response to a verbal greeting was an expression of enthusiasm and LeRoy was enthusiastic about greeting people and helping others.
Like his mother, he did not have much, but it did not stop him from helping others. He did not look down on anyone, no matter what state in life they were in. Le Roy was a True friend.
Le Roy was a member of Christ Temple Church of God In Christ Church, which was founded and Pastored by his late father, Bishop Le Roy Robinson, Sr. After his father departed this life, he became a member of The Lord Jesus Christ Holiness Church where the late Overseer Ruby Lee Brazile was the founder and Pastor. he was a member of Sweet Home Missionary Baptist Church, under the leadership of Pastor Eward Collins.
Later in Life he became a member of Greater New Mount Pleasant Missionary Baptist Church, where Pastor Tommie Palmer, is the Pastor that God gave him according to His Word. Pastor Tommie Palmer loved Le Roy unconditionally and he fed him with knowledge and understanding. (Jeremiah 3:15.) It was there on a Sunday mornings, where he sang, he made his proclamation “I’m Healed” and said his final goodbye to this world (Isaiah 53:5-8).
Le Roy Robinson, Jr. was preceded in death by his parents, the late Bishop Le Roy Robinson, Sr. and Elsie Mae Finley Robinson; his oldest sister, Yolonda Faye Robinson Jolly ( Minister Eric Keith Jolly); his niece, Elon Renee Jolly; his great niece, Miracle Faith Escalante and his Brother-in- Love, Alonzo Williams.
He leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Katrina Harris Robinson; two sons: Le Roy Robinson III and Kamron Robinson; one stepson, Antonio Martin; one daughter, Aniyah Robinson; one granddaughter, Aaliyah Salene Robinson; one step grandson, Don’Kayden Johnson; three sisters: Patricia Robinson (Eddie Robinson), Brenda Robinson Butler (Eddie Butler) and Minister Bridget Robinson-Walton (Reginald Walton); one brother, Pastor Patrick Robinson, Sr. (Shahara Robinson); two close cousins: April Kirk-Bell (Samuel Bell) and Robert Kirk; two daughters-in- Love: Curshalyn Lenton and Destiney Alize Deleon all of Houston, Texas; nieces and nephews: Kironda Robinson (Travis Dobbins, Sr.), Ke’Londa Jolly Escalante (Brother-in- Love, Minister Alonzo Escalante, Sr.), Jeremy Robinson (Dominique Gore Robinson), Do’Neasheya Williams, Pierre Robinson, Jai’Briael Paredes, Patrick Robinson, Jr. (Danielle Robinson), LaMonica Stewart (Eric Stewart), Kiarra Robinson and Adria Robinson; great nieces and nephews: Bre’Anna Neelys, Da’Kyra Neelys, Ke’Ana Neelys, Travis Dobbins, Jr., JayLiah Robinson, JaKayla Robinson, Jada Robinson, Alonzo Escalante, Jr., A’londria Escalante, Isaiah Robinson, Naomi Robinson, Elise Stewart, David Lee Green, Jr. and a host of other Relatives, friends and Church Family of Greater New Mount Pleasant Missionary Baptist Church.
