Kenneth George was born on May 3, 1941, to Roselyn and Harold George, in the village of La Brea Trinidad, WI. He was the third born child of fifteen children born to this union.
As a young man, Kenneth left Trinidad and migrated to St. Croix where he worked as a pipefitter. Yes, he was one of the best at his skill. While in St. Croix, he helped so many guys who came from Trinidad and all over the world. He helped them find jobs and he also opened up his own home to give them a place to stay.
He later migrated to Texas where he lived in Baytown for a while, before settling in Houston. He lived with his brother Olvis and his wife, Joanne, until he got his own apartment. He would then move into his own house, where he lived the remainder of his life.
Kenneth, known as Pablo to family and friends, was a father of one daughter, Ethridge “Ding” Williams, a Godfather to Janeicia “Jennie” Andrews and an Uncle and Grand Uncle to many nieces and nephews. He was also a dear and wonderful friend. He enjoyed going to the barbershop, this is where he was able to spend time with his longtime friends.
If you knew Kenneth, then you know he loved to dress and always kept his jean starch ironed and very stiff and neat. He was always into sports and he loved playing soccer. Oh, let us not forget his love for playing the lotto. He would always say, “I will win big one day.”
Kenneth loved his parents, he loved his entire family. He also took care of his entire family. It’s as if he felt that being the second eldest male, it was his job to make sure that his family was well taken care of. His family loved him and they called on him for everything. He will surely be missed by many.
Kenneth entered into eternal rest on Friday, May 5, 2023, from a life well lived. He is preceded in death by his parents, Harold and Roselyn George; one brother, Cecil George and two brothers-in-law: Lazar and Peter.
He leaves to cherish his memory his only daughter, Ethridge Williams; thirteen siblings: Eric, Gloria, Winston, Juliet, Andrew (Portia), Hollis (Judy), Olvis (Joanne), Catherine, Barry, Yvette, David, Davidson and Vivian; Goddaughter, Janeicia Andrews; five great and longtime friends: Carol, Nathan, Ed, Steven, Mike and we can’t forget his barber, Herman and a host of uncles, nieces, nephews and other friends.
