Kendall Lashawn Robertson, born on September 23, 1969, in Chicago, Illinois, passed away peacefully June 22, 2025. He was the beloved son of Dorothy and Elbert Robertson.
Kendall’s life was marked by a deep dedication to family, faith, and service. He was a proud and loving father to his children: Kendall Jr., Kendria, Kerany, Kennedi Robertson. His heart was full with the joy of becoming a grandfather to his precious grandchildren, Ky’rah Cameron and Timothy Gobert, Jr.
He married the love of his life, Mazda Seals, on February 22, 2013, in Houston, Texas. Their union was one of strength, companionship, and laughter.
A proud graduate of Alief Hastings High School, Kendall went on to attend Texas Southern University on a baseball scholarship, where he also pledged the non-Greek fraternity, Wisconsin Sleepers. His athletic talent earned him an invitation to try out for the Philadelphia Phillies — a testament to his skill and dedication to the sport he loved. A lifelong Chicago Cubs fan, Kendall never lost faith in his team.
Professionally, Kendall found purpose and pride in his work at Memorial Hermann Hospital, where he served as Supervisor of Environmental Services. His leadership, compassion, and work ethic left a lasting impact on colleagues and patients alike.
Kendall’s memory will live on through the lives he touched — as a father, grandfather, brother, friend, and mentor. His laughter, love for baseball, and unwavering devotion to his family will never be forgotten.
The Robertson family extends their heartfelt gratitude for the outpouring of support and prayers during this time of loss.
