Jeremy Jervon Smith, born on July 18, 1990, in Houston, Texas, to Latonya Smith and John Marbles, lived a life defined by warmth, style, and unwavering devotion to those he loved. Known for his effortless charm and uplifting spirit, Jeremy carried a presence that brought light into every room. He had a deep appreciation for music, a keen sense of style, and a natural ability to turn ordinary moments into lasting memories.
At his core, Jeremy was a devoted family man. He believed in unity, in showing up, and in loving loudly and wholeheartedly. Whether through laughter, guidance, or quiet support, he made it his mission to keep his family close and connected.
Professionally, Jeremy worked as a truck driver, a role he embraced with dedication and pride, always striving to provide and build a strong foundation for his loved ones.
Jeremy was preceded in death by his beloved son, Jaquai Smith; brother, John Smith; maternal grandparents: Levi Jones and Belinda Darlington and paternal grandparents: John Whitaker and Mary Marbles.
On April 9, 2026, Jeremy peacefully departed this life, leaving behind a legacy of love, resilience, and cherished memories. He is survived by his devoted wife, Latoya Smith; his four children: Jeremiah, Jervon, Janiah, and Journey, who were the pride and joy of his life; his parents: Latonya Smith and John Marbles (Jeanetta); his siblings: JohnTavious, Jermaine, Joshua, Jasmen, Bartee and Lloyd; along with a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and dear friends who will forever hold him in their hearts.
Jeremy’s life was a testament to love, loyalty, and living with intention. Though he is no longer with us, his spirit will continue to inspire all who had the privilege of knowing him.
