James Allen Charles was born on February 15, 1984 in Houston, TX to Dr. Roslynn Guyton & James Mosby. He excepted Christ calling at an early age.
He attended schools in Houston ISD later graduating in 2004 from Barbara Jordan High School for Careers where his chosen career path was drafting.
He began his ministry at age 26 as an associate minister at Gloryland MBC under the leadership of Pastor Bennit Hayes. Later moving ministry to the Church of Mecca under the leadership of Pastor Priscilla Chillis & Pastor Bertrina McDaniel Turner.
James met his wife, Kimberly Charles, in high school and they later married on August 17, 2013. To this union three children were born: Jayce Allen Charles, Ella Alysia Charles and Gabrielle Alexandra Charles.
He worked as an armed security officer at Allied Universal until his untimely demise.
James was preceded in death by his sister, Zoe A. Chrisette; grandparents: Robert and Dessie Hamilton and Lottie Lincoln; mother-in-law, Barbara J. Colquitt and uncle, Robert White.
James leaves to cherish his precious memories his wife, Kimberly Charles; son, Jayce Allen Charles; daughters: Ella Alysia Charles and Gabrielle Alexandra Charles; mother, Dr. Roslynn Guyton (Jimmie); Father-in-law, Alvin Colquitt; sisters: Kerrie Davis (Walter), Joy Peterson (Donald) and Toeleisa Charles (Fred); brother-in-law, Kevin Colquitt; nieces: Barrosha Prescott (Deshawn), Erin Keener, Kierra and Kayla Colquitt; nephews: Ashton Charles, Ethan Kennedy and Kadin Colquitt and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
