Darrell Coleman was born in Bryan, Texas on June 15, 1962, to Meredith and Elton Coleman. He transitioned to heaven peacefully on July 27, 2022.
Darrell attended James Madison High School in Houston, Texas and later served in the United States Air Force for two years.
Loving, kind, compassionate, giving, and humorous are a few of the words that have been used to describe Darrell.
He loved spending time with his family, especially his granddaughter, MacKenzie, who he enjoyed spoiling. He also enjoyed playing cards and dominoes, and he loved watching movies.
In spite of his personal challenges throughout the years, Darrell maintained a positive attitude and a joyful spirit. He fought a long battle with cancer, but you never heard him complain. Instead, he faced each day with courage and faith. Though he did not attend church, he had a personal relationship with God and did not fear dying.
Darrell leaves to cherish his memory his mother, Meredith Brown and step-father, Ira Lee Brown; daughter, Ebony Harris; step-brother, Anthony Brown; aunt, Roberta Harris; granddaughter, MacKenzie Martin, who was his pride and joy; and a host of cousins, relatives, and friends. He will never be forgotten.
