His Story
Andre’ DeLeon Wilson was born on September 12, 1979 to Eddie James Wilson and Diana Glenn.
Andre’ was a good hearted loveable guy who was always smiling and in high spirits that had a strong passion to sing. He began singing as a young boy at Olivet Missionary Baptist Church. Singing was a part of his daily life. He sang in numerous choir competitions, visited numerous churches, he auditioned on American Idol and he was the Choir Director of the Salvation Army Choir.
Andre’s passing is preceded by his father, Eddie James Wilson, his Aunt Malinda Bernard (his second mother) and Uncle Edward Bernard Jr. (his second father). It is with great joy to know that he is now in their arms as the two assisted in raising Andre’, making him the beautiful man that he turned out to be.
He leaves to cherish him memory, his mother, Diana Glenn-Calhoun; four siblings: Kristyonia Calhoun (Anastasia Shaffer), Johnny Dilworth-Bradley (Reginald Bradley) of Houston, Texas, Batina Wilson Warren of Welch, Louisiana and Jerrod Wilson of Lake Charles, Louisiana; two special friends, Horace D. Hall and Dr. Donald Milton Moore and a host of uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces, extended family and friends.
Andre’ was such a beautiful and loving person that will be greatly missed.
